A Design & Construct project, Techworks scope included installation of over 1000kW of photovoltaic solar systems and associated equipment to existing and new train stations in the Metro network. Feasibility studies were complete prior to commencement of design, which was governed the PTAโs EM4P engineering management procedure. The project required extensive electrical and communications upgrades to the existing stations to accommodateย the solar systems. Techworks were responsible for Feasibility, Electricalย & Structural design packages, Electrical and Solar installation and Roof safety systems.
